Suspect in University of Idaho quadruple killings, Bryan Kohberger, indicted by grand jury on murder and burglary charges

(CNN) — The suspect in the fatal stabbing last year of four University of Idaho students has been indicted by a grand jury on murder and burglary charges, a court official told CNN.Bryan Kohberger was indicted on all five original charges – four counts of murder and one count of burglary – Latah County Deputy Court Clerk Tamzen Reeves said Wednesday. If found guilty, he could face the death penalty.A hearing is set for Monday.Kohberger was arrested in December for allegedly carrying out the November 13 killings of Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20, at a home just outside the University of Idaho’s main campus in Moscow, not far from the border with Washington state.CNN has reached out to Kohberger’s attorney for comment.The slayings prompted a weekslong search for a suspect, leaving the campus and surrounding community wracked with uncertainty and fear until Kohberger’s arrest December 30 at his pa...

Man shot, killed at Campland on the Bay; suspect arrested

SAN DIEGO -- A man was fatally shot at Campland on the Bay near Pacific Beach on Tuesday night, said the San Diego Police Department.Authorities say they received several calls reporting a shooting in the 2200 block of Pacific Beach Drive around 10:08 p.m. and officers arrived to the area within minutes. Explosion in Tijuana injures 20, three in critical condition Upon arrival to the resort, which offers waterfront RV and tent camping, SDPD says a man was found in the pool area suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.Officers immediately performed life-saving measures until paramedics from San Diego Fire-Rescue arrived and transported the man to a local hospital.
